Will you have any spare time in 2010? We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities available, with local and nationwide charitable organisations. Contact the office for further information. Please let us have your used postage stamps, which we send off to raise funds for Leukaemia research. We can trim them, or if you have the time, you could trim then so that there is a border of approx a quarter of an inch. Please no closer as any stamps with perforations cut off are worthless! We can also take Postcards - used or unused, British or Foreign. (Please don’t tear off the stamps or scrub out addresses or text as this also makes them worthless.) Just to remind you that we are continuing to recycle ink cartridges (sorry, not Epson) and mobile phones.

Hay Community Support is looking for a kitchen wall cupboard to have in the office. Do you have one that is surplus to requirements?

Finally – if you should have any unwanted Christmas presents we are very happy to take them off your hands and use them as fund-raising raffle prizes.
